Retail Pharmacist

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for all aspects of retail pharmacy operation within area assigned including inventory, workflow and security with an emphasis on customer service. This role plays a critical role in advancing patient-centered care by integrating outpatient dispensing services with the broader health system. It supports medication access, adherence, and clinical outcomes.

Daily responsibilities include managing inventory levels, optimizing workflow efficiency, and ensuring pharmacy security protocols. The pharmacist collaborates with providers, care teams, and specialty pharmacy services to enhance patient outcomes. Varying shifts support a standard 40-hour weekly schedule.

This position operates within Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, the cornerstone of Cook Children's health system. The environment features advanced technologies, research, treatments, surgery, rehabilitation, and ancillary services all designed to meet children's needs.
