A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated and experienced Bank Oncology Pharmacist to join Springfield Hospital. The successful Oncology Pharmacist will take ownership of the service. Work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to deliver excellent levels of service to patients.
As the Oncology Pharmacist, work within a team of Pharmacists and Technicians. Provide clinical, technical and prescribing support to the hospital. Support patients who are self-funding, insured or NHS e-referral.

Requirements
- Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or band 7 equivalent in Pharmacy
- Keen interest in oncology and desire to work within this field
- 5 years’ experience in industry
- Member of GPhC with current registration
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the oncology pharmacy service
- Work closely with the Pharmacy Manager
- Deliver excellent levels of service to patients
- Provide clinical support within the hospital
- Provide technical support to the pharmacy team
- Provide prescribing support to the hospital
- Support oncology treatments for self-funding, insured and NHS patients
