The Pharmacist performs professional and clinical duties in dispensing medications to patients and clinics. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to support day-to-day operations of a clinic pharmacy. This ensures safe, efficient, and quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a California pharmacist license required, or certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC)
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience
  • High Volume Retail Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Valid BLS certification or higher following American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional and clinical duties in the dispensing of medications to patients and clinics

  • Direct pharmacy technicians
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and quality service to patients and customers
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Counsel patients on medication use and potential side effects
  • Manage pharmacy inventory and ordering processes
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
