Cardinal Health Community Health Center programs address population health management needs across the continuum of care, from HRSA compliance to medication adherence. Pharmacists work in company-owned retail contract pharmacies serving communities most in need, delivering immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and care for high-risk patients.

Under direct supervision of the manager, pharmacists dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to customers while maintaining open communication for consultations. They participate in supervising technical staff, ensure 340B contract pharmacy compliance, and provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
  • Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located
  • Immunization Certification or willing to become certified within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Interpersonal relations and customer service skills
  • 340B experience preferred
  • May require vendor credentialing

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to all customers under manager supervision
  • Maintain open communication and provide consultation to customers and practitioner sites
  • Participate in supervision of technical staff
  • Ensure pharmacy compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies
  • Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers of partner health facility
  • Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow, verifying preparation, labeling, order entries, charges, and inspections

Benefits

  • Anticipated hourly range: $56.10 per hour - $80.30 per hour
