This PRN Retail Pharmacist position is located at My Community Health Center in Canton with hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, working as needed and covering PTO. Pharmacists deliver medication and pharmaceutical care in communities most in need, including immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and high-risk patient management. Our programs address population health from HRSA compliance to medication adherence.

Work in a company-owned retail contract pharmacy designed for healthcare facilities. Under manager supervision, maintain open communication with customers and practitioner sites while participating in technical staff supervision. Ensure compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies and provide consultation to patients and prescribers.

Serving patients is the main priority, improving access and quality of care across the continuum. Complete operational requirements by organizing technician workflow and verifying pharmaceutical preparation. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
  • Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located
  • Immunization Certification or willing to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Interpersonal relations and customer service skills
  • 340B experience preferred
  • May require vendor credentialing

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications and ensure safe and efficient delivery to all customers under manager supervision
  • Maintain open communication and be available for consultation to customers and practitioner sites
  • Participate in supervision of technical staff
  • Ensure pharmacy is compliant with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies
  • Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers of partner health facility
  • Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' workflow
  • Verify technicians' preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, order entries, charges, and inspections

Benefits

  • Anticipated hourly range: $50.10 per hour - $71.70 per hour
