As the Pharmacist, your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes and pharmacy efficiency. Primary focus is effective operation of the Retail Pharmacy and expert patient care. Manage day-to-day functional operations including interpreting prescriptions and dispensing medications.

Streamline inventory processes like procurement and cycle counting. Conduct rigorous clinical review of patient records to monitor drug therapy, interactions, and adverse reactions across all age groups. Supervise pharmacy technician staff to foster accuracy and compliance.

Uphold Colorado State and Federal licensure requirements and manage 340B program compliance. Serve as secondary resource for inpatient pharmacist coverage including Medication Therapy Management. Position offers full-time day shift with starting pay depending on experience.

Requirements

Licensed Retail Pharmacist
Graduate Degree
Expertise in retail pharmacy operations management
Proficiency in clinical review for drug therapy optimization and patient safety
Experience supervising pharmacy technician staff
Knowledge of Colorado State and Federal licensure requirements
Familiarity with 340B program compliance and retail financial reporting

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize day-to-day retail pharmacy operations, including interpreting prescriptions, accurately dispensing medications, and streamlining inventory processes (procurement, cycle counting)
Provide expert consultation through continuous clinical review of patient records to monitor drug therapy, drug interactions, and adverse reactions ensuring patient safety across all age groups
Supervise, direct, and guide daily workflow and activities of pharmacy technician staff fostering a culture of accuracy and compliance
Uphold all Colorado State and Federal licensure requirements and ensure required clinical documentation
Manage administrative duties related to 340B program compliance and retail financial reporting
Serve as secondary resource for clinical coverage to inpatient pharmacist as needed including Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and patient chart review
