About this role

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a patient-focused Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, compassionate pharmaceutical care with emphasis on regulatory compliance, patient safety, and exceptional service. This position supports comprehensive medication management and safe dispensing practices.

Provide comprehensive medication management and ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications. Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications while serving as a trusted medication resource for the care team. Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and pharmacy staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Support specialty, hospice, and discharge medication services as needed in a supportive and inclusive work environment. Work alongside pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of patient care in our retail pharmacy setting. Engage with the care team to enhance overall pharmaceutical services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
  • Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred
  • Current Washington State Pharmacy License in good standing
  • 2 years of hospital and/or retail pharmacy and clinical pharmacy preferred
  • Computer experience with pharmacy systems preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification required
  • Certification in immunization administration required within 90 days of hire
