Regions Hospital is hiring a Pharmacist-in-Charge for a newly-created pharmacy opening in spring 2026 within the HealthPartners Specialty Center at 401 Phalen Boulevard in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The pharmacy enhances patient-specific medication outcomes and provides comprehensive support for prescription needs through close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in ambulatory care. It operates under Regions Hospital Pharmacy Department oversight.

The Pharmacist-in-Charge directs day-to-day operations of pharmacy services and ensures full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. This role provides professional pharmaceutical services, including reviewing and verifying medication orders, dispensing medications and related supplies, monitoring patient medication therapies, and delivering drug information to patients and healthcare providers.

This union 1.0 FTE position is assigned to Monday-Friday day shifts, with 80 hours per pay period. Exceptional customer service skills and proven supervisory experience are critical to success. Scheduling expectations may revise in the future based on evolving patient care needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Minnesota
  • In-depth understanding of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and quality assurance processes
  • Previous leadership or Pharmacist-in-Charge experience in a retail, community, or outpatient pharmacy setting
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in HIV pharmacotherapy principles and clinical applications
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and electronic health records systems
  • Strong organizational capabilities and high level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Direct the day-to-day operations of pharmacy services
