About this role

Our Store Managers are essential members of the team who lead and inspire their colleagues. You will be responsible for the overall running of the store and motivating your team while nurturing the Hickey’s Pharmacy culture in line with Core Values – Ambition, Positive Teamwork, Customer Care, Professionalism and Reliability. Your primary focus will be accomplishing and exceeding store targets.

As a motivating leader, you will empower those around you to be their best, to innovate, and to have fun. Analyse daily, weekly, monthly sales figures to ensure store profitability and manage stock and cash in line with company procedures. Supervise day-to-day operations while maintaining high customer service standards.

Join a dynamic and energetic team fully supported in-store and by a support office. Rosters are published up to 8 weeks in advance with excellent training from the management team. We seek someone fully flexible for this full-time 40-hour role.

Requirements

  • 2 years Store Manager or People Manager experience – within a Pharmacy setting preferable
  • Previous Dispensary experience preferred
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and handle challenging situations
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to understand and analyse sales figures
  • Positivity, drive, enthusiasm, confidence, decision-making ability and sense of responsibility

Responsibilities

  • Analysing daily, weekly, monthly sales figures to ensure store profitability
  • Ensuring that high standards are maintained for customers and teams
  • Managing stock and cash in line with company procedures
  • Supervising and managing the day-to-day operations of the store
  • Understanding and meeting the commercial needs of the business

  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation
