About this role

Partner pharmacist who works in coordination with the Pharmacy Manager on the overall pharmacy operation and models SJH's purpose with all activities and communication. The role ensures dispensing prescriptions and specialty medications while administering appropriate immunizations. Compliance with the 340B program is a key responsibility.

Daily duties include creating a great customer experience and continuing professional relations with medical providers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators. The pharmacist maintains compliance with all regulatory agencies and SJH policies. A positive, attentive, and knowledgeable professional image of the pharmacy department is upheld.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Equivalent FPGE (NABP)
  • Minimum of fifth year college or university program with a degree in pharmacy
  • Hold and maintain a current, valid in-date license to practice Pharmacy in the state of practice
  • Completion of ACPE Accredited Immunization program preferred
  • Completion of 340B program training required within 90 days of hire
  • 1-2 years experience in retail pharmacy preferred
  • Previous 340B and/or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
