CareRx is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in delivering safe and effective drug distribution services across multiple facilities. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in areas such as geriatrics, palliative care, and mental health medications.

The successful candidate will enhance their accuracy and efficiency in performing final checks related to compounding, compliance packaging, and other prescription fulfillment processes. Requirements

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (RPhT)
  • Knowledge of KROLL, PCC or Catalyst Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
  • Retail, community or long-term care pharmacy experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated computer and word processing skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions
  • Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Gather and ensure completeness of all necessary information
  • Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll
  • Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical products and ensure final checks are completed prior to release
  • Maintain accurate documentation while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Contribute to a clean pharmacy environment
