Pharmacists deliver medication and pharmaceutical care, including patient consultation, medication therapy management, and high-risk patient management. Dispense medications safely and efficiently under manager supervision. Maintain open communication with customers and practitioner sites for consultation.
Participate in supervising technical staff and ensure compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies. Organize and direct technicians' workflow, verifying preparation, labeling, order entries, charges, and inspections. Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities.
Work 16-20 hours per week with PRN on-call covering PTO, vacations, and rotating Saturdays across Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and optional Sonoma locations. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
- CA Pharmacist license in good standing
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Interpersonal relations and customer service skills
- 340B experience preferred
- May require vendor credentialing
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications and ensure safe, efficient delivery to all customers under manager supervision
- Maintain open communication and be available for consultation with customers and practitioner sites
