As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you’ll support safe, accurate medication delivery for our pediatric patients with full training and a supportive team behind you.
In this role, you’ll prepare, dispense, and deliver medications to inpatient units, stock and manage automated dispensing cabinets, and compound sterile and non-sterile products with full training provided. You’ll also assist with STAT and batch medication preparation, manage inventory, and use pharmacy computer systems for safe distribution.
Work in a 24/7 inpatient pharmacy serving a compassionate, collaborative pediatric care environment with a consistent day or evening schedule. The team offers supportive leadership, small-group hands-on training for sterile compounding in a cleanroom, and a culture that wants you to succeed.

Requirements
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA
- Currently licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee
- Open to candidates with less than 1 year of experience
- Ability to work a consistent schedule of day or evening shifts (6:00am-2:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm)
- Willingness to complete training in non-sterile and sterile compounding and cleanroom competency
- Commitment to patient safety and accuracy in medication delivery
Responsibilities
- Preparing, dispensing, and delivering medications to inpatient units
- Stocking and managing automated dispensing cabinets
- Compounding sterile and non-sterile products (training provided)
- Assisting with STAT and batch medication preparation
- Managing medication inventory and supplies
- Providing excellent customer service to care teams
- Operating pharmacy computer systems and utilizing technology for safe medication distribution
- Performing activities as directed by Pharmacists and Pharmacy Managers in accordance with regulations and hospital policies
