This position is located at Adams Community Pharmacy with hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm. Pharmacists play an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities most in need. Responsibilities include immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and potential management of high risk patients.
Under direct supervision of manager, dispense and ensure safe, efficient delivery of medications to customers. Maintain open communication and availability for consultation with customers and practitioner sites. Participate in supervision of technical staff and ensure compliance with 340B program best practices.
Provide professional consultation to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities. Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing technicians' workflow and verifying preparations, labeling, order entries, charges, and inspections. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
- Licensed pharmacist in the state of Indiana required
- Immunization Certification or willing to become certified immunizer within 90 days of hire required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Interpersonal relations and customer service skills
- 340B experience preferred
- May require vendor credentialing
