About this role
North Central Co-op, a fully member-owned organization committed to sustainable initiatives that directly benefit local communities, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role is based out of our Chappelle Pharmacy location and will provide support to pharmacies across the Edmonton and surrounding area, with travel required.
In this role, you will greet customers in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner, gather prescription information, and input demographic and prescription data into the database. You will also process, package, and complete payment processing for customer prescriptions, maintain and update patient profiles, and coordinate blister package filling.

Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in a retail pharmacy preferred
- Knowledge of Kroll system preferred
- Commitment to excellence in customer service
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly, prompt and professional manner
- Gather prescription information, input demographic and prescription information into database
- Process, package and complete payment processing for customer prescriptions
- Maintain patient profiles and ensure they are updated
- Coordinate blister package filling
- Perform all cash and till duties
- Order products and pharmacy supplies
- Perform other duties as required
