Senior Retail Pharmacist

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Senior Retail Pharmacist prepares and maintains all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory. Work involves moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Staff Retail Pharmacist is involved in all areas of medication dispensing and other pharmaceuticals. Duties include all aspects of dispensing prescriptions as well as providing immunizations. Directly interacts with patients and provides information to senior members on drugs and pharmaceuticals.

The pharmacy is located inside CenterWell Senior Primary Care clinic for direct interaction with patients, clinic staff and providers. Provide clinical recommendations to clinic staff and oversee the retail pharmacy team. Address is 2910-1 E. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28056.

This floater position covers PTO and provides extra coverage as needed, averaging one 8-hour day per week. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with a lunch break. Use skills to make an impact, influence department strategy, and make decisions on complex issues without direction.
