You are accountable for the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy, including patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance. You lead and direct your Pharmacy Staff, comprised of staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, while keeping customers healthy through patient care programs.

You will lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues. You motivate, inspire, and develop your support staff by balancing assignments that maximize strengths and address development opportunities. Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

You will identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy. Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting, seeking new ways to grow and collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes.

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Listed on the pharmacy state license as the ‘pharmacist in charge’.
  • Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct Pharmacy Staff, including staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
  • Ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in all pharmacy operations.
  • Manage inventory, financial profitability, and loss prevention within the pharmacy.
  • Oversee workflow management and customer service to deliver a compassionate health experience.
  • Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
  • Motivate, inspire, and develop support staff by balancing assignments to maximize strengths and address development opportunities.
  • Identify critical business opportunities and implement meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance.
  • Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
