Provides pharmaceutical care in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate and cost effective drug therapy to patients. This role ensures optimal medication management in a community setting. Focus remains on patient-centered outcomes.
Coordinates with physicians and providers to review prescriptions and recommend therapies. Monitors drug therapy for efficacy and safety in outpatient practice. Manages cost-effective dispensing while adhering to protocols.

Requirements
- B.S. in pharmacy with 2 years work experience or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy
- BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
- Advanced degree (MS, PharmD) or residency preferred
- Experience in inpatient or outpatient pharmacy practice preferred
- Board Certification by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties preferred
- Previous experience in applicable specialty practice area preferred
