About this role
Join CenterWell's caring community as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, supporting pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation and dispensing. This role involves semi-routine assignments and moderately complex administrative and operational tasks.
Day to day, you will receive inbound phone calls from patients and providers, enter prescription orders into the system, and ensure adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes. Work under minimal direction with some independent discretion to interpret area policies.
You will report to a Supervisor of Specialty Pharmacy Operations and collaborate closely with pharmacists to optimize health outcomes for patients. The position is remote, requiring a dedicated home office space free from interruptions to protect patient information.

Requirements
- Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence (Ohio, Florida or Arizona)
- Must be nationally certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT
- 1 or more years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician OR call center experience in a pharmacy or any related call center setting
- Critical thinker who can anticipate member/customer needs and take initiative, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality customer experience
- Problem solver who can find viable solutions that meet member/customer needs, absent from all ideal tools and resources
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Moderate working knowledge of Excel
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound phone calls from patients and providers
- Enter prescription orders into the system
- Support pharmacists and patients by ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes designed to optimize health outcomes
- Interpret area/department policies, practices and methods for completing assignments with some opportunity for interpretation and/or independent discretion
- Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards
- Work under minimal direction

- Work schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday with choice of 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. EST or 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EST
