About this role

You will support the pharmacy operation by ensuring every medicine that leaves is accurate. Accuracy checking dispensed medicines keeps standards high. You contribute to a culture where getting it right the first time is non-negotiable.

You carry out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines and take ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process. Maintaining clear prescription records and escalating discrepancies without hesitation forms a core part of the role.

You work with pace and purpose alongside the wider pharmacy team. The environment is collaborative and supportive within a fast-growing digital health organisation focused on cannabis-based medicines.

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent ACT qualification
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC — no exceptions
  • Solid, proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking
  • Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies and SOPs
  • The kind of attention to detail that you simply cannot switch off

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines, ensuring full compliance with legal, operational and safety standards
  • Taking ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process
  • Maintaining clear, accurate prescription records and escalating discrepancies without hesitation
  • Actively mentoring junior colleagues and helping to build a team culture rooted in accountability, safety and quality
  • Staying sharp on professional development, best practice and regulatory changes
  • Working with pace and purpose alongside the wider pharmacy team to ensure every patient gets exactly what they need

Benefits

  • Hourly rate of £16 to £18
  • Shifts are 8 hours per day with a 30 minute unpaid break
  • Shifts start times from 8am to 10am
  • Monday to Friday
