Felix Pharmacy, a fully Canadian-owned and operated mail-order pharmacy in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role is central to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred care to patients across Canada from our close-knit local operation.

In this role, you will accurately register patients, create and maintain up-to-date profiles, and input prescription history in our pharmacy system. You will assist with the preparation, labelling, packaging, and shipment of prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, and respond to inquiries from doctors and patients.

Our mail-order model is designed for accuracy and efficiency, allowing you to focus on patient care in a calm, well-structured environment. We prioritize teamwork, open communication, and a shared commitment to doing great work, with a predictable, steady schedule set in advance.

You will help manage pharmacy inventory and packaging supplies, support coordination of medication orders with wholesalers and manufacturers, and ensure accurate documentation across all systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacy.
  • High level of accuracy in medication handling, labelling, and data entry.
  • Clear, professional, and fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Able to collaborate in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and focused.
  • Comfortable working with pharmacy software and digital tools; experience with Kroll is strongly preferred.
  • Committed to following health and safety protocols and maintaining a safe workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from doctors and patients, and escalate clinical questions to the pharmacist when appropriate.
  • Help manage pharmacy inventory and packaging supplies; support coordination of medication orders with wholesalers and manufacturers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and uphold pharmacy data integrity across all systems and processes.
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
