Join NeighborHealth, one of the largest community health centers in the country, serving the greater Boston area. As Pharmacy Manager, you will lead our retail pharmacy operations at the Gove Street location, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

In this role, you will oversee daily pharmacy activities, manage inventory, and supervise a team of pharmacy technicians and staff. You will also provide direct patient counseling and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy outcomes.

Requirements

  • Valid and active pharmacist license in Massachusetts (required)
  • Experience working in a retail or community pharmacy setting
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and community health
  • Ability to work full-time at the 10 Gove Street – Taylor Building location

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the retail pharmacy, including workflow and patient services
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient performance
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and safety standards
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and minimizing waste
  • Provide clinical services such as medication therapy management and patient counseling
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for audits, billing, and quality assurance
