This part-time Pharmacy Assistant role supports the pharmacy under the Pharmacy Manager’s direct supervision.

You will receive prescriptions from patients and perform computer functions as directed. Fill prescriptions under supervision, maintain inventory control, and handle supplies and clerical organization. Complete delegated tasks to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends up to 24 hours weekly in a team-focused environment. Follow health and safety policies, loss prevention best practices, and emergency protocols. Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 18 kg, and operating equipment.

Requirements

Certification from a College/On-line Pharmacy Technician school and/or applicable work experience in a pharmacy or retail setting
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Highly motivated with proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills
2 or more years’ experience is an asset
