You will assist the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations including customer service, front counter, cashier duties, telephone inquiries, and housekeeping. You will also operate the pharmacy computer, assist in processing and preparing prescriptions, and handle ordering, receiving drug orders, and inventory management.

This role requires a self-starter with enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure. You will relate to all levels of customers and work as a team player in a challenging retail pharmacy environment.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, and management.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to relate to all levels of customers and understand their needs.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to work as a team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department.
  • Providing customer service, servicing the front counter, cashier duties, and handling telephone inquiries.
  • Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized pharmacy.
  • Operating the pharmacy computer and assisting in the processing and preparation of prescriptions.
  • Ordering and receiving drug orders and managing pharmacy inventory.
