We are seeking a passionate, patient-focused Pharmacy Manager with a strong clinical mindset and a vision to help drive Meijer Pharmacy to the next level of innovative, high-quality care at our Richmond, IN store.

In this role, you will fill prescriptions safely and accurately while performing and overseeing clinical services, including immunizations. You will also mentor, train, and guide pharmacy technicians, and be responsible for staffing selection, hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions to build an effective team.

Our pharmacists enjoy a strong culture of teamwork and professional respect, with pharmacist overlap Monday through Friday for collaboration, mentorship, and quality patient care. Every third weekend rotation supports work/life balance, and pharmacist leadership is represented at every level of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist in the state of Indiana
  • Certified Immunization provider or ability to become certified
  • Strong leadership and development capabilities
  • Competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures, as well as state and federal laws
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Passion to elevate the practice of pharmacy in a forward-thinking environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for staffing selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs
  • Prepares and conducts performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians
  • Documents and applies disciplinary actions
  • Fills prescriptions safely and accurately
  • Implements and executes pharmacy programs, including financial results, clinical services, labor, inventory, stock loss, security, patient services, and profitability
  • Educates and mentors pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to be effective team members
  • Motivates team members to perform to their highest level and holds them accountable for results
  • Performs and oversees (where allowed) clinical services, including immunizations
