We are now hiring Great People Who Care! We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is positive and passionate, ready to assist the Pharmacist and provide a memorable experience to all our customers. Our team members are responsible team players who are always ready to learn.

In this role, you will assist customers, answer phones, operate the cash register, and use the computer to input data, look up refills, and check retail prices of prescription drugs. You will also call doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions, receive orders from patients, type pharmacy labels, check in merchandise, and stock shelves.

Requirements

  • Board of Pharmacy State License required
  • Must pass a drug test (safety-sensitive position)
  • Permanent residency in California or Nevada is a condition of employment
  • No disciplinary action during the past 6 months (for current Raley's employees)
  • Current leader must recommend and endorse the application (for current Raley's employees)

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in the pharmacy
  • Answer phones and operate the cash register in the Pharmacy
  • Operate the computer to input data, look up refills, and check retail prices of prescription drugs
  • Call doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions
  • Receive orders from patients and type pharmacy labels
  • Check in merchandise and stock shelves
  • Conduct general housekeeping duties when needed
  • Assist the pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pulling prescription merchandise from shelves
