This position is responsible for providing assistance to pharmacists, pharmacy coordinators, and pharmacy programs or initiatives. You will work with internal departments, external vendors, and members to evaluate and resolve pharmacy issues and provide member support for programs and initiatives.

Join a purpose-driven company that will invest in your professional development. This is a phone queue position handling inbound calls, with work hours Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM CST or 7 AM to 4 PM CST.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a health care/insurance industry (or equivalent)
  • Licensed and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician / Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
  • High School Diploma with current State Pharmacy Technician Licensures in good standing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office product skills including ability to learn various database software applications
  • Drug information skills
  • Self-motivator with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to pharmacists, pharmacy coordinators, and pharmacy programs or initiatives
  • Work with internal departments, external vendors, and members to evaluate and resolve pharmacy issues
  • Provide member support for pharmacy programs and initiatives
  • Handle inbound calls in a phone queue position
  • Learn and utilize various database software applications as needed
  • Manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Understand and follow complex oral and written directions as well as technical information
