A Pharmacy Technician contributes by demonstrating competencies of a Level I Technician per AHF Pharmacy Policy. Be sensitive to the stigma of HIV, associated comorbidities, barriers to care, and patients’ needs for anonymity and privacy. Work schedule is 2pm to 10:30pm with rotating Saturdays 6:00am to 2:30pm.
Work as part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and referral sources. Facilitate exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans. AHF has a collaborative structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

Requirements
- State Pharmacy Technician License
- PTCB certification
- IMZ certification preferable
- CPR certification preferable
- Understanding of HIV stigma and barriers to chronic disease treatment
- Ability to maintain patient privacy and anonymity
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations in HIV/AIDS care setting
