A Pharmacy Technician contributes by demonstrating competencies of a Level I Technician per the AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual. Enhance AHF's reputation by being sensitive to HIV stigma, associated comorbidities, barriers to care, and patients' needs for anonymity and privacy. Remain a passionate advocate for top initiatives.
Work as part of a close knit team in a collaborative organizational structure accountable to multiple leaders. Establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and referral sources. Facilitate the exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans.

Requirements
- State pharmacy technician license (if applicable)
- PTCB certification preferred
- IMZ certification preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Sensitivity to HIV stigma and patient privacy needs
- Understanding of chronic disease treatment barriers
- Ability to adapt in dynamic pharmacy environment
- Competencies of Level I Pharmacy Technician per AHF standards
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competencies of a Level I Technician as described in AHF Pharmacy Policy, Procedure and Training manual
- Maintain sensitivity to the stigma of HIV and associated comorbidities
- Understand barriers to care and importance of patient anonymity and privacy
- Serve as a passionate advocate for AHF top initiatives
- Uphold AHF core values and mission in all activities
- Collaborate with close knit team to build relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and referral sources
- Facilitate exchange of patient demographics and medication treatment plans
- Assist in providing cutting edge HIV treatments through pharmacy operations
