You will assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily Pharmacy Department operations. Duties include customer service, telephone inquiries, general housekeeping, operating the pharmacy computer, and processing prescriptions. You will also handle ordering, receiving drug orders, and managing inventory.

Requirements

  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists in the province of employment is mandatory
  • Completed all required national and provincial Regulated Pharmacy Technician programs and passed the exams
  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, and management
  • Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience preferable

Responsibilities

  • Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department
  • Provide customer service and handle telephone inquiries
  • Perform general housekeeping duties
  • Operate the pharmacy computer and assist in processing and preparation of prescriptions
  • Order and receive drug orders
  • Manage pharmacy department inventory
