About this role
The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist serves as a member of the central services team, delivering best-in-class pharmaceutical support to clinical staff organization-wide. Responsibilities include therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, medication information, education, and performance improvement for safe, effective, cost-efficient therapy. This hybrid role requires travel to clinics.
Under the Associate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services, collaborate with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff to provide quality patient care tailored to oncologic diagnosis, treatment, age, and needs. Coordinate drug therapy processes such as drug selection using genetic/biomarker testing, dosing, monitoring, outcomes management, and compliance. Support development of new regimen builds and handle inquiries.

Requirements
- Knowledge of Hematology/Oncology therapeutics and patient care needs
- Experience with drug selection incorporating genetic/biomarker testing
- Proficiency in oncology dosing, monitoring, and outcomes management
- Ability to provide medication information and education to clinical staff
- Understanding of protocol management and performance improvement in pharmacy operations
- Familiarity with clinical research protocols and new oncology therapies
Responsibilities
- Provide timely consultation services to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other organization members
- Deliver up-to-date drug information on new approved therapies in oncology and biologic therapies
- Apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles to oncology practice
- Ensure delivery of therapeutic medication monitoring and protocol management
- Coordinate drug therapy including drug selection with genetic/biomarker testing, dosing, and monitoring
- Manage outcomes, retrospective drug utilization monitoring, and compliance
- Provide support for development of new regimen builds and related inquiries
