Soleo Health is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Manager to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy in Norcross, GA. Join us in Simplifying Complex Care by overseeing the overall management of the pharmacy and staff completion of professional assignments.
In this role, you will direct high quality pharmacy services and provide medical supplies to customers and patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and laws regulating pharmacy practice. You will oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services prescribed by physicians or other mid-level practitioners in a safe and efficient manner.
You will interface with physicians and referral sources, serve as a drug information resource to the sales force, and participate in team selling and sales support. The Pharmacy Manager also completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
This position offers a great company culture with no weekends or holidays, affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, and an education assistant program. Typical business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with on-call availability as back up.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), or R.Ph. with appropriate clinical experience.
- Applicable active state licensure.
- Minimum 7 years Pharmacist experience, preferably direct compounding.
- Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience preferred.
- Efficiency in CPR+ / Care Tend is desired.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Directs pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective operations.
- Provides and/or oversees compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services prescribed by physicians or other mid-level practitioners.
- Ensures that all pharmacy operations, practices and procedures meet all licensing and standards requirements established by local, state and federal agencies.
- Conducts initial and ongoing assessment of specific patient, drug and disease information to identify real and potential drug-related problems or needs.
- Interfaces with physicians and referral sources as required, and serves as a drug information resource to the sales force.
- Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
- Participates in and maintains on–call schedule for pharmacists and covers as needed.
