Work at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, a 388-bed acute-care hub with Family Birth Center, Level III Trauma and Neonatal ICUs, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Requirements

  • Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in hospital, retail, clinic or other setting
  • Experience dispensing medications and preparing IV admixtures
  • Ability to supervise pharmacy support personnel

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV solutions
  • Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records
  • Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work
  • Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
  • Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service
