Work at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, a 388-bed acute-care hub with Family Birth Center, Level III Trauma and Neonatal ICUs, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Requirements

Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in hospital, retail, clinic or other setting
Experience dispensing medications and preparing IV admixtures
Ability to supervise pharmacy support personnel

Responsibilities

Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders and prepare primary IV solutions
Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records
Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work
Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care service
