About this role

Soleo Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support our specialty infusion pharmacy in Centennial, CO. Join us in simplifying complex care by providing clinical support services for infusion therapies under the direction of a pharmacist.

This role involves preparing and dispensing injectable and oral medications, maintaining USP 797 and USP 800 standards, and complying with state Board of Pharmacy regulations. You will collect and coordinate patient communication, laboratory data, and clinical information with pharmacy, nursing, and reimbursement staff.

Day-to-day tasks include performing data entry of patient and prescription information into the pharmacy software system, cleaning and maintaining the pharmacy clean room, and participating in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. You will also handle receiving and storage of medications, pick and package supplies for shipment, and support inventory counts and formulary management.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Colorado in good standing
  • Must be PTCB or NHA certified (Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT)
  • Minimum of 1 year on-the-job work experience as a pharmacy technician fulfilling duties including order fulfillment, inventory, shipping medications, data entry, and inbound/outbound calls
  • Experience working with specialty infusion medications in a hospital or specialty infusion pharmacy preferred
  • Must have experience checking in medication orders, filling medication/supply orders, shipping medications, and research protocol management
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to work full-time, Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm, 40 hours per week
  • Remain current with BOP continuing education requirements and complete Soleo's annual re-credentialing process

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate understanding of USP 797 standards, USP 800 standards, and current State Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • Maintain call and shipment schedules to ensure continuity of care for all patients
  • Collect, document, disseminate, and coordinate customer communications, laboratory data, and clinical information with pharmacy, nursing, and reimbursement staff
  • Perform efficient data entry of patient and prescription information into the company's pharmacy software system, as allowed by BOP regulations
  • Perform all cleaning and maintenance of the pharmacy clean room in accordance with company policy and state BOP regulations
  • Participate in the company's quality assurance and performance improvement program
  • Perform receiving and storage of medications and supplies from vendors, and pick/pack supplies and medications for shipment to patient homes
  • Participate in regularly scheduled inventory counts and comply with Soleo's formulary management program
