Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join our central services team, delivering best-in-class pharmaceutical support across the organization. This hybrid role supports clinics in the Sarasota and Bradenton, FL locations and requires Florida residency.
In this role, you will provide therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, and medication information to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. You will collaborate with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff to coordinate drug therapy for patients based on their oncologic diagnosis, prescribed treatment, and other identified needs.
As a member of the Pharmacy Operations team under the direction of the Associate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services, you will support drug selection—including the use of genetic and biomarker testing—drug information, dosing, monitoring, outcomes management, and retrospective drug utilization compliance. You will also assist with the development of new regimen builds and inquiries.

Requirements
- Florida resident candidate required.
- Licensed pharmacist in the state of Florida.
- Experience in oncology pharmacy or clinical pharmacy services.
- Knowledge of current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles related to oncology therapies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff.
- Familiarity with clinical trial protocols and drug therapy monitoring.
- Strong analytical skills for drug utilization review and outcomes management.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely consultation services to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other members of the organization.
- Deliver up-to-date drug information on new approved therapies in the oncology space as well as other biologic therapies.
- Apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles to support drug therapy decisions.
- Coordinate the drug therapy process for the Hematology/Oncology patient population, including drug selection, dosing, monitoring, and outcomes management.
- Support the use of genetic and biomarker testing in the drug selection process.
- Assist with the development of new regimen builds and respond to related inquiries.
- Conduct retrospective drug utilization monitoring and ensure compliance with protocols.
