About this role

Do you want to work for the nation's largest online pharmacy ensuring excellence for all our patients? As a Clinical Pharmacist (RP) at Pharmacy2U, you will ensure every patient receives exceptional, safe, and reliable care. This role is based at the Bardon facility with a hybrid working arrangement.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in protecting patient wellbeing by delivering accurate clinical checks and spotting potential risks. You will take overall accountability for the safe and compliant running of the facility during your RP period, ensuring prescriptions are handled with absolute precision.

You will support the clinical operations team, with patient safety remaining the highest priority. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 5:30 pm to 2:00 am, offering a unique night shift schedule. We are Great Place to Work certified and committed to a positive, open working environment.

Requirements

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Proven clinical pharmacy experience, ideally in a high-volume or online pharmacy setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy law, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work independently as a Responsible Pharmacist with full accountability.
  • Proven ability to perform accurate clinical checks and identify potential risks.
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts (5:30pm–2:00am) and provide on-site cover as needed.
  • Commitment to patient safety and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure every patient receives exceptional, safe, and reliable care through accurate clinical checks.
  • Spot potential risks and handle prescriptions with absolute precision.
  • Take overall accountability for the safe and compliant running of the facility during your Responsible Pharmacist period.
  • Support the clinical operations team to maintain high quality of care.
  • Ensure patient safety remains the highest priority by ensuring clinical accuracy.
  • Provide on-site cover during periods of sickness or holiday for the other Responsible Pharmacist.
  • Participate in a hybrid working schedule alternating one week on-site and one week remote.
