About this role

Valeris, a fully integrated life sciences commercialization partner, is seeking a Front End Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy operations team. This role is vital to ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications, requiring a high degree of professionalism and a commitment to quality care.

Day-to-day, you will accurately enter and process new and refill prescriptions in pharmacy management systems, contact patients and prescribers to collect missing information, and respond to inbound and outbound calls to support patient care. You will also report drug adverse events to internal systems and client portals while demonstrating discretion in handling protected health information.

You will work cross-functionally with pharmacists, technicians, hub personnel, and fulfillment teams in a fast-paced environment. The position is hybrid, requiring on-site work 2–5 days per week in Scottsdale, depending on operational needs.

This role offers the opportunity to participate in training, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives, with the chance to assist in onboarding and mentoring new technicians. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Trainee License – Arizona Location (required).
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred).
  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, hospital, or specialty preferred).
  • Must pass background check and drug screening prior to employment.
  • Must be able to work on-site 2–5 days per week, depending on operational needs and job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process new and refill prescriptions in pharmacy management systems.
  • Contact patients and prescribers to collect missing information for prescription processing.
  • Respond to inbound calls and make outbound calls to support patient care and pharmacy services.
  • Report drug adverse events to internal systems and client portals.
  • Navigate pharmacy systems to confirm, document, and reconcile orders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with pharmacists, technicians, hub personnel, and fulfillment teams.
  • Participate in training, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
