You will dispense medical prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and perform administrative duties including data entry, inventory management, and prescription billing. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Pharmacy Technician license/certification as required by the state of employment
Minimum one year of pharmacy technician experience preferred
Familiarity with pharmacy concepts, practices, and procedures
Current CPR certification
Adherence to infection control principles and patient confidentiality

Responsibilities

Dispense medical prescriptions as directed by the Site Physician or Charge Nurse
Perform administrative duties including data entry, inventory management, and prescription billing
Maintain inventory records, receive and store incoming supplies, and verify stock
Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare personnel as needed
Assist healthcare professionals within the scope of pharmacy technician certification
Adhere to infection control techniques and principles while respecting patient dignity and confidentiality
Maintain a high degree of accuracy and adhere to all state and federal regulations related to pharmaceuticals
