At UCLA Health, you can do all this and more with a primary focus in oncology patients. Maintenance and review of patient medication profiles; reviewing and verifying physician medication orders and patient medical record; and checking of IV products.

Interacting with healthcare professionals and providers to help promote safe medication use, prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications. Provide clinical pharmacy services (e.g., pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/PO conversions, clinical protocols per pharmacy and pharmacist interventions).

Requirements

  • Licensed Pharmacist in California
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Knowledge of oncology pharmacotherapy
  • Experience with infusion therapy and IV admixtures
  • Proficiency in pharmacokinetic dosing for oncology patients
  • Ability to work variable hours Monday-Friday
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple sites

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review patient medication profiles
  • Review and verify physician medication orders and patient medical records
  • Check IV products for community infusions
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to promote safe medication use
  • Prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services including pharmacokinetic dosing
  • Perform therapeutic interchange, IV/PO conversions, and follow clinical protocols
  • Travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health
