Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient inpatient pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities include accurately distributing and pre-packaging medications, maintaining and restocking Pyxis medstations, and monitoring inventory for quality and safety.

You’ll also support compliance through detailed record-keeping including refrigerator temperature logs and hood cleaning. You ensure accurate billing and help maintain a secure, well-organized pharmacy environment while floating to multiple areas as needed.

Work occurs fully on-site at West Hills with varied shifts that include weekends and holidays. This structure supports continuous inpatient pharmacy coverage across the department.

Requirements

  • California Pharmacy Technician license
  • Experience with Pyxis medstation systems
  • Knowledge of inpatient medication distribution processes
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory and compliance records
  • Familiarity with billing procedures in a hospital pharmacy
  • Capacity to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Accurately distribute and pre-package medications under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
