Pharmacy Assistant - Home Infusion

Ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmacy environment. Performs physical, technical and clerical duties necessary to support pharmacy operations in a fast paced environment. Duties include packaging medications and supplies for delivery, testing and cleaning equipment, clerical tasks, and various other duties under the supervision of registered pharmacists.

Daily responsibilities focus on preparing medications and supplies for home delivery in a home infusion pharmacy setting. Team members test and maintain equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Clerical tasks support smooth operations and accurate record-keeping.

Work collaboratively with internal and external customers in a challenging environment with time demands and conflicting priorities. Form harmonious working relationships while handling sensitive issues and solving unique problems. Demonstrate self-starter qualities with high initiative, flexibility, and organizational skills.

Maintain a positive and professional image through self-directed learning to meet professional development requirements. Annually demonstrate core competencies for the position and area of specialty. Stay detail-oriented and responsive to emergency or urgent events in a mentally and physically demanding setting.
