Requirements

• Actively check and respond to emails throughout the day
• Complete all mandatory education within the given timeframe
• Maintain regulatory requirements and represent the organization positively in the community
• Report to work on time as scheduled and use the computerized punch time system correctly while wearing identification
• Attend annual reviews, department in-services, and at least 75% of staff meetings while reviewing all monthly minutes
• Comply with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices and the employee handbook

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician in taking prescriptions from customers when legally and professionally advisable
• Operate the register verifying patient name and date of birth for prescriptions and handle cash, check, and charge cards accurately
• Receive and store incoming deliveries of medication and supplies
• Perform assigned quality control activities on schedule
• Maintain the Drug Store in a clean, orderly manner and manage inventory of supplies with reorders as needed
• Answer the phone in a professional manner and direct calls accordingly
• Direct patients and customers appropriately using knowledge of the store layout
