You will maintain working knowledge of pharmaceutical services, including drug distribution, central operations, and IV admixture. Provide clinical support in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment while ensuring adequate drug supplies. Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring and discharge instructions.

Requirements

Successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure
Current state licensure required
BLS if required by state
PharmD or BS Pharm preferred
Advanced degree preferred
Completion of hospital pharmacy residency preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture
Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment
Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times
Correctly inform and instruct patients on drugs to be used after discharge
Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs
Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring
Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement
