Daily work includes retrieving medication from inventory, inputting customer and prescription information, creating labels, and adjudicating insurance claims. The role also involves ordering medication, stocking shelves, and completing related paperwork for a professional pharmacy appearance.

Requirements
- High School/GED or meets requirements in their state
- Retail/Community Practice experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- Proficient typing skills and neat legible penmanship
- Organizational and prioritizing skills
- Basic math skills
- Professional appearance
Responsibilities
- Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
- Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
- Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
- Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
- Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
- Stock prescription medication and maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy.
- Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
- Prioritize workload using effective communication skills.
