Requirements
- High School/GED or meets requirements in their state.
- Retail/Community Practice experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.
- Proficient typing skills and neat, legible penmanship.
- Organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Basic math skills and professional appearance.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
- Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
- Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
- Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
- Order and stock prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
- Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
